How to Use an ASME ‘U’ Certified Abrasive Blast Machine:

• Pre-Check: Inspect the machine, hoses, gauges, and safety valves. Ensure it is ASME ‘U’ certified.
• Load Abrasive: Depressurize, load the recommended abrasive, and secure the fill port.
• Wear PPE: Use a blast helmet, gloves, suit, hearing protection, and safety boots.
• Start-Up: Connect the air supply, pressurize slowly, and test media flow.
• Blasting: Maintain proper nozzle distance and pressure while evenly moving over the surface.
• Shutdown: Turn off air, depressurize, and empty leftover media.
• Maintenance: Clean and inspect components after use, and store in a dry place.
